The 2014 and up Lexus IS250, 350, and F are all amazing pieces of Lexus engineering and it definitely shows in the engine, technology, and style of the car. While they added LED lights in the front headlights and rear license plate lights, it seems as though they forgot to add it in another important area of the car such as the interior cabin. The higher end models such as the GS series come with factory LED interior lights starting with the previous generation already so it should be natural that the IS should also have this luxury.

Since the IS did not come with factory LED lights, there are aftermarket replacement lights available that give you the LED look that comes from factory, but it is much brighter. Lets take a look at how to install some exact fit LED lights into a 2014 Lexus IS.

1.) Starting with the front map lights, grab a flat head screw driver and remove the clear plastic lens from the housing starting at the edges.

2.) Once the lens has been removed, there should be three (3) T10 incandescent halogen bulbs; remove those and set aside.
*NOTE: They may be hot if they were on so please exercise caution when removing them*

3.) Connect the T10 adapters from the exact fit LED panel into the respective spots in the housing.

4.) Test the light to make sure all the LED diodes light up before fully installing the panel.

5.) Install the panel into the housing and re-install the plastic lens. The adhesive on the back is not required as the panel will be firmly placed once the cover is back on.

6.) Move towards the rear dome lights and use the same flat head screw driver to remove the clear lens from the housing. Again, start from the edges.

7.) Remove the three (3) incandescent halogen bulbs from the rear dome lights. Please exercise the same caution as when removing the front map lights.

8.) Install the three (3) T10 adapters from the rear panel into their respective positions and test the light.

9.) Install the rear lens cover back on and enjoy your new Lexus IS250 IS350 LED Interior Lights.
