3D Printable Perpetual Desktop Wooden Calendar With Watch

In almost every home around the world, we can find calendars we buy every year. We buy calendars with dog, cat, pandas, flowers, etc. What you think to make your calendar?

We wanna introduce our newest project Perpetual Desktop Wooden Calendar with Watch which can look great whatever you want to place it, also the calendar has a quartz watch.

Like we know every 3D printer is different we will share our settings but it doesn’t mean our setting will work better than yours.

After 1.5 days we have it. Printed calendar now time for post-processing. Why we love the print with Wood PLA. We don't have a lot of work with post-processing our model. Maybe just a little bit strings, just use Sandpaper or even nails files from our printer 95% of models come straight to painting.

After sanding the model, we are ready for staining our calendar. First, we will paint our base we used the colour Rosewood from our test best to paint is using a kitchen sponge. We apply three layers of stain. Just get a little bit on a sponge and paint base in one way In holes we used brush to paint.
Every layer just leaves little time to dry.

Next, We get the part with letters and numbers which will be inside of the base. Start apply three layers of stain just this time we used the colour Teak. It will take a little bit of time to paint all of it. Leave model to dry for 24h. Time for the next step.

Ok, after 24h of waiting we are ready to paint letters and numbers. To this we used Metallic Acrylic Paint colour Gold and brush size 0 we love our brushes to detailed painting. It is the longest process in this project we have a lot of letters and numbers to paint, also there printed two marks which we will paint in gold. We need to apply again 2-3 layers of gold paint to obtain beautiful gold letters and numbers. Is just good because before you finish all previous one should be dry and can be painted straight away.

The last step is to install a watch mechanism inside the calendar. Simply place mechanism inside should fit perfectly. The mechanism place has 56.4mm x 56.4mm. Later assembly watch (add shafts) insert battery and close (optional) form back.
