3D Printed Christmas Tree (quickly Assembled)
It was necessary to set Christmas tree on workplace. I have 3d-printer. And I decided to make a modular 3d printable tree. This Christmas tree set have 4 elements and can be assembled as you wish.
Supplies
- 3d Printer: Standard FDM printer with one extruder. I have Anycubic Kassel Linear Plus.
- Filaments: I used green PETG filament. You can use any colour for any element.
- Software: I used Ultimaker Cura. You can use any software as you wish.
Downloading and Printing
The remaining parts are to be 3d printed from the .stl files included in this step.
For assembling 3-level Christmas tree (as it looks on photo) you need to print:
- 3 body main
- 3 body small
- 12 branches (8 for 1 level, 4 for 2 level, 0 for 3 level)
- 12 enders (4 for 1 level, 4 for 2 level, 4 for 3 level)
Printing time (PETG, layer height 0.3 mm, walls 0.8 mm, Top/Bottom 0.8 mm, infill 10%, Print speed 45 mm/s):
- Body main - 16 min
- Body small - 9 min
- Branch - 20 min (OMG!)
- Ender - 16 min
Assembling
Assembling is very easy.
Assemble level:
- Insert body small in body main
- Connect branches to body (as many as you wish)
- Connect enders to branches
Connect ready levels.
Done!
Or you can assemble it as you wish!
