3D Printed Screw Organizer for the IKEA Helmer Drawer
I finally fulfilled my dream a few months ago and bought 50Kg of the most used screws for my projects. For this I needed of course a good way to store them sorted. My decision was the Helmer metal box from IKEA.
Supplies
Of course many screws :) from M3 to M6 in all shapes and sizes.
One ore more IKEA Helmer metal drawers.
10mm plywood as reinforcement for the metal drawers.
Dimensions: 23 x 38,5cm
And many 3D printed sorting boxes plus the grids.
You can also find the Print files over at my Prusaprinters account.

Print the Grids. I used two for each drawer one 4x4 and one 3x4 Grid and glued them with double sided tape to the plywood.
Print the boxes. I used a diferent color for each screw size. And labeled them with a Brother label printer.
You can fit 48 1x1 Small boxes in one drawer.
They Stack an lock into each other so they don't slide around.
Sort them and feel the Maker ZEN.
Have fun Printing and sorting!
