In this project I'll show you how to design and 3D print Valeria's Medallion from Fortnite.

Supplies

For this project you need red, silver, and gold 3D printer filament (it doesn't matter what material or color, but I used those colors to create the most realistic version), 3D modeling software (you can use something free like tinkercad.com), photo editing software, 3D printer slicing software (Cura is free), a hot glue gun for assembly, and obviously a 3D printer. I bought my filament off of Amazon.

I attached the files for the medallion below but if you want to, you can design it yourself. Skip to step 3 if you don't want to design it. For this step, you need some kind of photo editing software, I use Canva. Take the image I attached and separate the different colored parts of the medallion so you have different pictures for each color. Make sure you also have one picture of the whole shape. Now adjust the color values of the photos until the parts are as dark as you can get them.

Take the darkened photos of the parts and put them into a file converter to convert them to .svg files. I used the website convertio.co to do that. Next, upload the files to your 3D modeling software and adjust the scale to what you want. Now, with the shape of the whole thing, take whichever shape you want the bottom to be the color of and attach it to the base file in the place where it's supposed to go. Now you have something to attach the other parts to when you're assembling it.

Slice the files and upload them to your 3D printer. Print them in the colors that you want to.

Take the printed pieces and hot glue them where they're supposed to go. You won't know where exactly to glue them, it's like putting stickers on Lego pieces.

You're Done
