3D SECRET LOVE NOTE BOX

This entry is supported by my 3D printing class. This is my first time using this equipment by myself and I have to say I absolutely loved this assignment.

1.Open and log into Tinkercad

2. Begin tinkering

1. using the hexagon

2. drag the shape to the center

3. look for the cylinder hole

4. add it to the middle of your box

1. look for the heart shape

2. drag to one face of the hexagon

3. enlarge to fit your preferences

4. select all, and group the shapes

1. find the text option

2. adjust the letters to L O V E

3. drag the text to the opposite face of the hexagon

4. make sure the 2 surfaces touch

5.select all and group

1. find the half sphere

2. drag it above the box and size to be the exact size of your boxes hole

3. drag hexagon slightly below the half sphere and center it

1. drag the handle to the top of the hexagon and sphere and center it

1. enlarge the handle

2. group the entire top

1. rotate the top to be bottom up

2. drag the text option to the center

3. change the letters to "shhh..." (because our love notes are for our eyes only!)

1. save your Tinkercad as .STL files to be downloaded for printing

2. adjust your item according to printer and personal preferance

3. preheat your printer

4. send to printer

SN. if you have multiple printers or do not have the two color printer head. print the top in white and the box in red!
