Taking Photographs

I took 50+ photos of my mouse. The floor was reflective, so I decided to use an A4 Paper below the mouse. I had to take photos from every angle and all sides so that I'll get a full scan on Meshroom.

Processing

I ran into some problems regarding the softwares, I had to change and run the software in three different computers. The software was crashing in the other two. It took an hour for the software to run and come up with obj file. Due to the small amount of photographs I have taken, the 3D scan wasn't reflecting the actual shape of the mouse.

Post-processing

I imported then my 3d Scan into Meshmixer to try to fix it as much as I could. I first removed the surface from the mouse and then I divided it into two. I used a brush to fix the imperfections on the surfaces and make it smoother. That process took a while but it was definitely worth it. Finally, I mirrored it and combined the two parts together.

Final Result

You can see the final result above. It doesn't look perfectly as the mouse, but it was the best I could achieve with limited resources I had.
