3Ds Modeling House
We will be modeling a house in 3ds MAX :)
Supplies
Computer, 3ds Max, mouse(optional)
The Walls/door
To create the walls you must create 4 rather thin rectangular boxes that surround a square perimeter.
The door you need to first create a hole in the wall of your choice to create space for the door.
You do this by created a long box that goes through the wall> selecting the chosen wall> then go to where it says "Standard Primitives" and click that> the third one down that says "Compound Objects> Click where it says "Boolean"> Scroll to where it says "Add operands" and add the long box> now scroll some more and slick subtract.
Dining Room
To create the table and the chairs create a rectangular box for the table and two boxes for the chairs> go to the far right and click the tab next to the "+" sign> go to where it says "Modifier List"> scroll down to "Edit Mesh"> click on the three dots shaped in a triangle> turn on "Ignore Backfacing
Now select a vertex( blue dots) on the each four corners on each object and pull it down
Do not pull too far to where it turns black.
For the chairs select the vertex's on the back edge of the boz and pull them up
Kitchen
Refrigerator- Make a rectangular box, smooth out the edges
add another small rectangle and smooth it out to create the refrigerator.
Stove- box small thin cylinders for the burners
