4th of July Marshmallow Pops

This is a great way to celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends, especially little ones. This sweet treat is easy and fun to make that everyone will enjoy it! There are not many materials required, so it is also easy to afford while still being fun.

Materials Needed

Marshmallows

Pillsbury frosting (sprinkles included)

Food coloring

Skewers

Microwaveable bowls

Warming the Frosting

Take a spoon and put frosting into two bowls

Warm frosting for 15 secs or until soft (not melted)

Pour preferred food coloring in each bowl (in this case red & blue)

Dipping the Marshmallows

Dip one end of the marshmallow into frosting

Twirl the end of the marshmallow to speed up the dripping

Take a second skewer and stick it on the opposite side, then

Dip the other end into other frosting color

Finishing Up

Sprinkle specified color of sprinkles onto marshmallow pop

Let the frosting on the marshmallow pops harden or eat when ready

WARNING: If you would like to roast the marshmallows or put the skewer anywhere near flames, soak the skewer sticks in water for 20 minutes before use.
