5 Hairstyles for Short Hair

Photo on 7-8-16 at 3.37 PM #4.jpg

When I first cut my hair looked in the mirror and thought, " Shoot! I can't do any styles now!". I tried to look on pinterest for some but I couldn't find any. So I tried experimenting with it I tried many styles, some of them worked and some didn't. I thought some people with short hair that don't know what to do with it might like this instructable. These do work on long hair if you were wondering. I hope you enjoy this instructable.

Double Braids to a Ponytail

This is a fun summer hairstyle that looks good on anyone it is easy and only uses hairbands and a brush!

The first thing you do is brush your hair really well and make sure there are no knots

Then make two identical (or as close to identical as you can get) ponytails on both sides of your head make them closer of farther to the middle of the back of your head depending on the length of your hair, if your hair is longer make it farther from the middle and if your hair is shorter make it closer to the center

After that make braids with the hair in the ponytails secure the ends with hair bands (they will be taken out later)

Next attach the two braids with a hairband and after that pull the hair bands that were securing the braids out.

Done!

French Braid Into a Ponytail

This is a cute style that even keeps the your hair off your neck all you need is a good brush and a hair band if your hair falls slips out of hairbands you can use some hairspray (I don't normally use it)

Firstly, brush your hair back in a slick making sure there are zero knots.

Next take three small pieces of hair and cross one of the pieces over the center piece of hair before doing the other side add a small chunk of hair to it and then cross it over, do the same until you get just past the line of the middle of your head. Collect the extra hair and put a hair band over the braid and the extra hair

Now your done!

Two Pigtails Meet

This is a fun replacement for a ponytail, even if you can do a ponytail it is a cute and fun style to do.

The first thing you do is give your hair a good brush

Secondly, make pigtails with just sections of your hair. Be sure that they are nice and even.

Now, connect the pigtails into a ponytail

That's it!

Ponytail Flip

This is a really easy but still cute hair style

The first thing you do is brush your hair out

Then put your hair in a ponytail and don't put the hair band to close to the start of your ponytail but not too close to the edge either

Next, poke your finger through the hair that is not in the ponytail making a hole big enough to poke your ponytail through

After that flip the ponytail through the hole

Now you're done!

Mini Braid Bun

This is a really easy hairstyle that is easy enough for anyone to do.

First, like always brush your hair really well

Next, make a ponytail with hair left out of it.

After you do that braid the ponytail and secure it with a hair band.

Wrap the braid ponytail into a bun and secure it with a hairband

And that's all there is to it!
