5 Ways to Shutdown Windows
In this post, I will show you 5 ways to shut down Windows! So come along as you discover the many ways to shut down your Windows PC!
The Classic Way
Let's start with the classic way! Press the 🪟key or click the 🪟button on the taskbar, click on the power button, then finally, click "Shutdown." This is a digital way, but let's move on to the physical way.
The Physical Way
To do this shutdown, just press and hold the power button on your PC until it shuts off!
Now that we have done some of the easy ways, let's move on to the less well-known ways.
The Command Prompt Way
This way of shutting down involves a Windows app called command prompt. To use it, press the🪟key + R and a box will open called "Run." In this box, type "cmd.exe" and hit enter. A black window will open that looks a little like MS-DOS. In the windows type "shutdown/r" and hit enter. Your system will shutdown.
The Delayed Command Prompt Way
This way of shutting down is the same as above but with a delay. To use it, press the🪟key + R and a box will open called "Run." In this box, type "cmd.exe" and hit enter. A black window will open that looks a little like MS-DOS. In the windows type "shutdown/r /t" and after "t" the number of seconds you want the system to wait before shutting down. Press enter, wait for the number of seconds specified, and your system will shut down.
The Hard Core Way
This is the so-called "hardcore" way. I would not recommend doing this as it can cause data loss. But to do it, just pull the plug! You PC will turn off right away!
