I was down to my last lunch bag from the pack a while ago. I didn't feel like going to the store to buy more and when I saw duct tape lying around, an idea was born. This is the second version since I left food in the old one for too long and it started to smell :/

-Cut strips of duct tape about 1 inch longer than the perimeter of the bag.
-Tape the strips to the bag, starting at the top (this will make it easier to keep the bag open and taping the next strips will be easier). -Overlap the strips about 1/4 of an inch, working your way down about 2/3 of the way down the bag.
-Cut smaller strips for the bottom of the bag. Start with 2 strips along the longer part of the bag. Then 3-4 strips along the shorter side (see pictures)
-Only go about 2 inches above the bottom, the rings of tape around the main part of the bag will cover them.
-Finish taping the rest of the way down the bag.

I added a second strip inside the top of the the bag, then trimmed the top so there is no sticky overlap.
