A Candle in a Jaw
This tutorial discribes how to make a canned candle that e.g. can be used on your camping trip without getting wet.
Crush a Few Old Candles
We need wax. Old candles can be used for that. Just crush them to small pieces using a knife.
Fill Your Jaw With Wax
Next, fill your jaw with the crushed wax. You would want to compress it a little bit to get as much way as possible into the jaw.
Melting
Put the jaw into a pot and start heating it up. Do not put to much water into the pot as the jaw might start floating arround. Stir the melting wax to speed up the process.
Insert Wick
Tie a screw or something else to the wick so that it will stay on the ground and put it inside the jaw. I punched a hole into a lid so that it is held in the center of the candle.
Finishing
When the Wax is cold, open the lid and cut down the wick to a usefull length.
Now you can put a new lid onto the jaw and are ready to go!
