A Star

I'm back with more origami for you! Today I am introducing how to make a 3D star.

Okay, so a 2D isn't that hard, but a 3D, there's many steps.

Let's get started, shall we?

INGREDIENTS

All you need is...

Cut a thin piece of paper like in the picture, preferably the length of an A4 sized paper.

A KNOT

At an end, tie a knot and tighten as tight as possible; like in the photo.

FOLD

Fold the long and short end inwards and continue folding the long end at the edges to create the pentagonal shape.

ALMOST THERE...

Shove in the small sticking out piece of paper into the pentagon to get the picture above.

POP & GO!

Add pressure on all five sides of the star to get its 3D shape and voila, it's done!
