A Tape Dispenser Made From 3549pcs 5mm Magnetic Balls
Tape dispenser is used for holding a roll of tape. It has a mechanism at one end to shear the tape.
In this post, I show you how to build a tape dispenser from 3549pcs 5mm magnetic balls.
Supplies
435 pieces 5mm light black magnetic balls
570 pieces 5mm gold magnetic balls
924 pieces 5mm silver magnetic balls
1620 pieces 5mm blue-ish green-ish magnetic balls
Make a Chain With 5, 3 and 4 Blue Balls.
Connect them together like the picture.
We Need 11 Pieces.
Connect Them to Make a Circle.
Make a Chain With 5 Gold Balls.
Connect the 5-ball Chain to the Circle We Just Made and Push Them to Make a Triangle.
Make a Chain With 22 Light Black Balls.
Connect the 22-ball Chain to the Tip of Each Triangle As Shown in the Picture Below.
Make a Chain With 4, 3 and 5 Blue Balls.
Connect them together like the picture.
We Need 3 Pieces.
Connect Them Together.
Make a Chain With 5, 5 and 7 Blue Balls.
Connect them together like the picture.
Connect Them All Together.
Make a Chain With 5 Gold Balls.
Connect the 5-ball Chain and Push Them to Make a Triangle As Shown in the Picture Below.
Make a Chain With 3 Blue Balls.
Connect the 3-ball Chain As Shown in the Picture Below.
Make a Chain With 13 Blue Balls.
Connect the 13-ball Chain As Shown in the Picture Below.
Now We Have 2 Parts of the Tape Dispenser.
Let's Connect Them Together.
We Need 3 Pieces.
Stack Them Together.
We Need 6 Pieces of the Other Part.
Stack Them Together.
Make a Ring With 5 Light Black Balls.
Make a Stack of 5-ball Ring.
Reverse the Chain to the Other Side and Make One More Layer With 11-ball Ring.
Here Is the Two Layers Stack of 5-ball and 11-ball Ring.
Make a Chain With 17 Silver Balls.
Connect 6 Chains of 17-ball Chain Together.
Wrap the Sheet of 6 X 17 Balls With the Two Layers Stack of 5-ball and 11-ball Ring.
Here Is the First Layer of the Tape.
Make a Chain With 23 Silver Balls.
Connect 6 Chains of 23-ball Chain Together.
Wrap the Sheet of 6 X 23 Balls With the 1-layer Tape.
Here Is the Second Layer of the Tape.
Make a Chain With 29 Silver Balls.
Connect 6 Chains of 29-ball Chain Together.
Wrap the Sheet of 6 X 29 Balls With the 2-layer Tape.
Here Is the Third Layer of the Tape.
Make a Chain With 35 Silver Balls.
Connect 6 Chains of 35-ball Chain Together.
Wrap the Sheet of 6 X 35 Balls With the 3-layer Tape.
Here Is the Forth Layer of the Tape.
Make a Chain With 41 Silver Balls.
Connect 6 Chains of 41-ball Chain Together.
Wrap the Sheet of 6 X 41 Balls With the 4-layer Tape.
Here Is the Fifth Layer of the Tape.
Make a Chain With 9 Silver Balls.
Connect 6 Chains of 9-ball Chain Together.
Insert the Separator to the 5th Layer of the Tape.
Separate the 5th Layer to Add the Sheet of 6 X 9 Balls.
Connect the Sheet of 6 X 9 Balls Together.
Now the 5th Layer of the Tape Has Extra Balls to Make It Longer.
Pull the Tape Out.
Here Is the First Part of the Tape Dispenser.
Insert the Tape Inside the First Part.
Connect the End of the Tape to the First Part.
We Need 3 Pieces to Make the Second Part of Our Tape Dispenser.
Stack Them Together.
Here Is the First Part of the Tape Dispenser.
Connect the Second Part Together.
Now Our Tape Dispenser Look Like the Picture Below.
Make a Ring With 6 Balls and 1 Ball in the Middle.
Reverse the Chain to the Other Side and Loop the Chain Around the Ring to Add 3 More Layers.
Here Is the Cover of the Hole in the Middle of the Tape.
We Need 2 Pieces.
Turn the Tape Dispenser Vertical.
Now Our Tape Dispenser Look Like the Picture Below.
Let's Put the Cover on to Cover the Hole in the Middle.
Now Our Tape Dispenser Look Like the Picture Below.
Put the Cover on the Other Side.
