I am now 79 and am having walking any distance, so must sit down every 5-10 min. Walkers are expensive, so used what we had around. First we had a cheep dolly truck with no wheels, but got some at Re-Store. Next needed a seat so used 2 shelf brackets and a piece of 2X12 but plywood would have done the job. The shelf brackets were not quite strong enough so used a length of plywood to support. Shelf Brackets are held on with pipe clamps. We weigh 230 lbs so as you can see, it holds me. Now I walk with my Wife and can sit every once in a while.

It works just fine. Give it a try
