A Welcome Home

Me and my partner made a home for new adult guests to live in. The reason I made a decision to make a house is because for owners to have a start up to their new home. For the inspiration for picking the color of the house and the house texter are the beach features. Like the ocean and the land. I thought of an idea many peoples will be inspired by. Since many like going to beaches. I thought of Texas would be a good idea for the house, since Texas have beautiful beaches and seashells where family and friends can have fun.

The tools we will be using is cardboard from a medium size cardboard box. The next tool is scissors, a glue gun, tape and a boxcutter. Make sure your teacher is okay for using them. Always ask an adult to make sure you don't hurt yourself. And not to forget a ruler, to make sure how you are planning to build it, and how the width, length, and height are going to be for your house.

But firstly we need to make a sketch and a plan. Like I have here. I made a sketch of how the house is going to be, and how we are going to be doing it. Next you would want how the your house is going to be looking like in the inside, more like the needs that you can inspired people to choose your house. By telling them what you have in your home building.

Having the sketch and the supplies needed for the project. And if like paint the house in any color of your choosing. We are choosing is black and greenish blue paint for our project.

Next is measuring our walls. We are measuring by inches. We are doing the lengths by 5 inches long, and height 6inches. The left width is 9 inches long, and our right width is 10 inches long.

Once you are done cutting our all of the pieces you will start to build it. But I wanted to make sure if I got the measurement right and the angles in the correct spot for building the house. So, I used tape to help me know how it's going to be before gluing it.

We then planned how the windows are going to be at. We make sure the windows we are doing, is not too big nor not too small.

Once you have figured out the walls and windows. We now start using the hot glue gun you will glue all the pieces together starting with the walls. And always be careful with the hot glue gun. It can be extremely hot, so me and my partner make sure to be very careful with it.

Now that we finished connecting the walls together, we can now start adding texters to our home. We added frames to the window to make it more like a window and now just like a boring plain desert. Next, we added a floor for the house.

And lastly, our roof. You can design the roof however you want. But, we are doing like a tilted roof. In the fronts. To make it seem more realistic. As you can see there on the photos, that's how our roof looks like aswell with the windows. Now, that all the gluing and putting together our pieces for the roof and walls, we are now going to paint.
