I'm not a baker, but I am creative. I will show you how I put my own twist on boxed cake!

First Step

Get the boxed cake, preferably white cake. Mix together the ingredients shown on the back of the box. Water, oil, eggs, ect.

A Bit of Flavor

Grab some chai mix and add 2 or 3 tablespoons of it to the mix. this will give it more of a spice cake flavor witch reminds me of Halloween.

Gel Food Coloring

I separated the batter and distributed it evenly amongst 4 bowls. taking the gel food coloring I made black, orange, purple, and green.

Place Into Cake Pan

you can use any cake pan, I found this skull shaped pan at tj max.
place one color at a time into the cake pan, try not to mix it up.

your cake should look something like this when your done. If you made the skull you'll have to cut the ends to make them smooth so you can put them together later.

Frosting

making a basic frosting, fallow the instructions on the back of the box or bag. easy. I'm keeping it white for the skull.

taking that made frosting I covered the cake, then I got these tube frosting things at target and used them for a bit of detail.
