Supplies
Watercolors, white gouache, colored pencils, cotton paper.
Base Colors
I painted the first layer wet on wet using soft colors.
I painted the base color of the skin and the genie's lamp.
Second Layer + Clothes
I waited until the first layer dried, and then I painted shadows over the skin and the lamp.
I also painted Aladdin's hair and clothes.
Moon
I painted the moon wet on wet using yellow, blue and purple tones.
Sky
I painted the sky wet on wet, using a couple of blue tones, purple and dark green.
White Gouache
When the painting is completely dried, I have defined details with white gouache.
In particular, I painted light reflections, sparkles of genie's lamp and stars.
Pencils
I used colored pencils to draw specific details and increase the contrast between light and shadow areas.
