Star Projecting Tin LED Light!!!!!!

What is this product?

This is my newest project!!! i love this as when the lights are off, it looks like Im in space with the amazing lights looking like stars! This is a simple LED light that projects stars around your room!

What inspired me?

Okay, well if you were to have read a few other of my projects, you would see that I love lights. They are beautiful and there are so many different things you can do with them. I was sitting on my bed while going through my phone, but I noticed that my battery was running low, so I went to get my charger, and my draw was open, so as you do I shut it, but the draw stopped and wouldn't close! So I pulled out what was causing it not to close, and it was the tin with some sand paper inside. So I thought why the hell not!!!

This is what you will need;

- A sheet of 100 grit sand paper or any grit lower then 200.

- A pair of scissors

- A sharp implement to make holes such as a small screw driver.

- A tin of some kind

- And a small tea light, candle, LED circuit or LED strip.

If you don't have a small LED circuit, look at https://www.instructables.com/id/LED-Battery-Powered-Circuit/ and use it to create a simple 3 ultra bright LED circuit.

This is such an easy step. ill just add it because some people might not know how to use scissors.

Using the edge of your table or a ruler, make a small crease in the sandpaper about 3inches thick 9look at the picture) and then use your scissors to cut the line. You might need more then one so make sure you cut at least three strips.

This is the simple step (if you are using a soup can or simple tin then miss this step). Place your sandpaper against the surface of the tin. Apply a little bit of force and scrub in small movements. Don't go wild though and make sure you remember that the surface of the tin will heat up the faster you go so be careful. Complete this until the entire surface of your tin is clear and has nothing on it.

Use your sharp implement (eg screw driver, cork screws also work good) and make some small holes around the tin. you can only put a few in or a lot. its completely up to you. Make sure you make a few holes on the top also as it will look a lot better. BE CAREFUL! The sharp implement may impale you and cause great injuries to your hand.

WELL DONE!!!! you have just finished the simple LED light. Make sure your personalise this as it will mean a lot more. You can do this by adding more holes, spreading them out, using colour changing LEDs.
