Ancient Minecraft Villager Sculpture

Today I created a Villager Statue in the videogame Minecraft. This sculpture was easy and fast to make. I used different techniques to make it look old and crumbly, and if you want a newer looking statue as part of your base or as a sculpture, simply stop building at step 4. Enjoy!

For the Villager Statue, you'll need:

-Stone blocks, stairs, and slabs: These blocks will make up a large part of the statue. You can swap these blocks for deepslate, stone bricks, or anything you want.

-Vines: These are optional blocks that will be used to make the statue look old.

-Cobblestone blocks, stairs, and slabs: These optional blocks will be used like the vines, for making the statue look crumbly.

-Sand: I built the statue on a beach, so I used sand to make it look slightly buried.

For the body, make a 4 by 4 by 3 cube with the stone blocks.

The head is a simple 6 by 7 by 6 cube on top of the body. The arms are a bit more complex, using slabs and stairs to make.

To make the eyes, mine a block three blocks up and one block in on both sides. Where the block was, place a stair block. For the mouth, mine a strip of four blocks in the middle of the head, one block up. Place an upside-down stair block on both sides, facing toward the middle of the face. In the last two blocks, place slabs on the top side of the stone blocks.

For the eyebrows, simply place a strip of six stone blocks directly above the eyes. For the nose, place two stone blocks on the mouth, two underneath that, and two slabs under that. If you want this build looking new and nice rather than old and crumbly, stop at this step, but if you desire to make this look like an ancient sculpture from the days of old, read on!

This is where you use those cobblestone blocks and vines. Replace a few of the stone blocks with cobblestone blocks and cover the statue with vines. Since I built this on a beach, I made it look half covered in sand, like it was slowly buried over the years.
