Android Photo Manipulation
This is a Photoshop CS6 tutorial.
which will teach about blending options and layer styles.
From beautiful model to Version A.2 model 9807-0009. Now time to learn how to make your own foxy android lady. I plan to try to make a version in pixlr, but I haven't messed around in the program yet to do the edit so no promises.
I will provide the model render and pattern I used for the button down below.
The render is the fourth picture download it.
IF YOU CAN'T SEE THE NUMBERS AND SETTINGS ON THE PHOTOS PLEASE TELL ME BECAUSE I CAN SEE THEM NOT SURE IF OTHERS CAN, BUT IF NOT I WILL PUT THEM IN WHERE THE NEED TO BE.

Rendering.
If you are using the render I have provided it then this doesn't matter. However, if you are rendering you own model then use the pen tool or polygon lasso tool, but the pen tool is the most accurate way to go about it.
TIP
If you have no clue on how to use the pen tool go here to a pen tool tut http://masterphotoshop.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ak689 http://masterphotoshop.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2n82o6

Lines (face)
I like to do the lines in section.
Basically follow the pictures if you can't understand what I'm typing i will try to explain as much as possible.
using the pen tool make a line on the face and do it in your own style.
after you have finished the pen tool line uses the stroke function.
Then go to the blending option by right clicking the layer bring up a menu where blending option should be at the top.
use the inner shadow and drop shadow.
change the drop shadow to ffffff or white and look at the pictures for settings.

Lines (back and Neck)
It's the same thing as the last step in using the pent tool.
use the same layer style but change the drop shadow using the setting provided.
The rest of the lines are pretty much done the same way just mess with the drop shadow.

Joints
This is kinda optional because I have seen people use the circles and spaces or just use lines.
as you can see the first thing you will need to is to make a circle and, using the fill tool, make the circle black. Then while the circle is still selected go to the "select" on the menu then go to modify then contract an amount you think fits then after contracting delete the black in side the smaller circle. after which complete with a line going up.
the other joints are pretty much done in the same way.

The Button
It's all then in the pictures for y'all everything i did step by step on how to do it and the numbers just follow the pictures and it should be easy.
The Ear
Make a grey circle and use the settings then tweak for what ever photo is being used. this is also optional you can do lines hear on the ear and that will work but i found that i liked the cap better.
The Final Touches.
these are the filters and changes you should make to ad to the photo to get that greyish blue green sci fi hue i achieved.
The pictures have what you need look at the layers opacity to and make sure to try and match it. Also remember to create a back ground i used a light grey to white gradient as you can see mess around and find what you like.
