  • Sharpie Marker
  • Mini Philips Screwdriver
  • Glue Gun & Glue stick
  • Drill w/ 1/8" and 1/4" drill bits and 7/8" or 1/2" hole saw bit

Attach Rear Nylon Skids

  1. Remove Android Controller top cover
  2. Flip Android Controller with the bottom cover facing up
  3. Remove the two bottom plate screws closet to the input/output pins
  4. Use the same screws removed in step 3 to attach the Plastic Clamps
  5. Set assembly aside until needed

Attach Wheels to Servo Motors

  1. Attach one GM10 Wheel wheel to each of the two servo motors using the servo horns screws included with the servo motors

Attach Servo Motors to Android Robot Controller

  1. Attach one of the servo motor wheel assemblies from Step 2 to the Left bottom side on the Android Robot Controller assembly from Step 1 by applying a bead of hot melt glue to the surface of the motor. The Servo motor wires should face away from the plastic clamps.
  2. Repeat step 1 for the right servo motor.

  1. Gather the Android Robot Controller top cover from Step 1, 2 of the 1/2-in Zinc-Plated Corner Braces, 1 nylon washer, 1 Screw, Pan Head, PPN6-32x1/2 and 1 #6-32 Hex Nut
  2. Attach the Left Corner Brace to the Left hole on the top cover using screw, nylon washer and hex nut. Corner Brace slotted end should be standing up
  3. Place the remaining Corner Brace over the Right hole of the top cover using the screw for the hole. The Right Corner Brace will be secured when the top cover is reattached to the Android Robot Controller. Corner Brace slotted end should be standing up.
  4. Reattach Top Cover to Android Robot Controller

Measure and Drill Holes in Laundry Detergent Cap

  1. Gather the laundry detergent cap and Android Robot Controller assembly
  2. Place the laundry detergent cap flat end on the Android Controller top cover ensuring that the cap sides are flush with the slotted side of the corner braces
  3. Use the Sharpie pen to mark the location of the drill holes using the corner brace slots as a guide
  4. Drill two holes in the cap at the location of the markings using the 1/8" drill bit

Drill Spring and Battery Cable Holes and Attach Push Pins

  1. Make two drill hole marks on the front of the laundry detergent cap place about an 1.5" apart
  2. Drill two holes at the location of these marks using the 1/4" drill bit
  3. Use the 1/2" hole saw to drill one hole on the back side of the laundry detergent cap
  4. Push two push pins into the left side of the laundry detergent cap placed 1/2" apart
  5. Repeat the previous step 4 for the right side of the laundry detergent cap

Install 9V Battery and Spring on Laundry Cap

  1. Gather the 9Volt battery/9V to 2.1mm Barrel Jack assembly and laundry cap assembly
  2. Place the 9Volt battery assembly inside the laundry cap and insert the Barrel Jack cable through the back 1/2" hole of the laundry detergent cap
  3. Insert on end of the spring into the left side hole on the front of the laundry cap
  4. Insert the remaining end of the spring into the right side hole on the front of the laundry cap

Join Laundry Cap Assembly to Android Robot Controller Assembly

  1. Gather the laundry cap and Android Robot Controller assemblies
  2. Place the laundry cap assembly on top of the Android Robot Controller and align front drill holes in laundry cap with slots on the two corner braces
  3. Insert a rivet into the left and right side corner brace slot and laundry cap holes
  4. Use the rivet tool to "pop" the left and right side rivets that secure the laundry cap assembly to the Android Robot Controller assembly

Make Electrical Connections

  1. Attach the Left servo motor wire to the D12 pins of the Android Robot Controller. The black or brown side of the servo cable should be connect with the bottom GND pin
  2. Attach the Right servo motor wire to the D13 pins of the Android Robot Controller. The black or brown side of the servo cable should be connect with the bottom GND pin

  3. Plug the 9Volt barrel connector into the 7 - 12VDC jack on the Left side of the Android Robot Controller

Assemble and Install Zombie Head

  1. Gather the Zombie doll head and Plastic Ornament Ball
  2. Place the Zombie doll head inside one side of the ornament ball shell half and enclose it with the other half of the ornament shell
  3. Place the completed Zombie head ornament ball inside the open end of the laundry detergent cap
  4. The Zombiebot is now complete
