Apple Cinnamon Cake

IMG_8215.JPG

As it happens, I'm really into cooking and I especially love baking . So, today our kitchen became my territory for cake-experimenting again due to my mothers birthday and because I love apples and because I love cinnamon and because I love the combination of apples and cinnamon, in the end, this awesome apple-cinnamon-cake jumped out of my oven. I really hope you enjoy my recipe and - have fun baking!

Cheers!:)

Ingredients

Dough:

- 500g Flour

- 250g Butter

- 200g White Sugar

- 6 Eggs (I know, I forgot them on the picture, you're still gonna need them ;) )

- 1 Package (7g) Vanilla Sugar

- 1 Package (7g) Baking Powder

Topping:

- 30g White Sugar

- 1 Package Vanilla Sugar

- 1 Egg

- 100 ml Heavy Cream

- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Cinnamon

AND - of course- APPLES ! (you'll need about 4-5, depending on the size)

GET STARTED

First thing to do is to preheat your oven to 180° C (360 F).

After you've done that, you cut your apples into slices. I saved one apple and cut it into cubes because I poured those into the dough later while I used the slices to cover the cake.

DOUGH DOUGH DOUGH

Now, whisk together your 6 eggs, 250g butter (you should melt it before adding it), vanilla sugar and 200g sugar. Stir until well blended and when your'e done, add 500g flour and baking powder and pour in the apple cubes. Continue whisking until you have a smooth, sticky dough.

Everything is easier if you use a kitchen machine like I did;)

TOPPING

Pour the dough into a greased baking pan and cover it with the previously prepared apple slices. Then, whisk together the egg, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla sugar and heavy cream and pour it over the apple slices so that everything's covered.

Now you have to do nothing more than put the cake on a baking tray and put it into the preheated oven. Be careful to put it on a lower level because then, your dough will be ready before the apples get all burned ;)

FINALE

Bake for about 45 minutes, take out and enjoy! I ate it while it was still a little warm and added some vanilla ice cream which makes the whole thing even more delicious!

I hope I had some useful tips for you and thank you for reading!:)
