Making the Almond Cream.

In a small bowl, add almond meal or in a food processor, add 1/2 cup almonds and 1/2 cup flour. Also add to the 1/2 cup almond meal, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, 4 tablespoons butter (softened), a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Mix.


Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Puff Pastry

For the puff pastry you can buy your own or make it. The recipe is down below.

1 cup butter (cold)

1 and 3/4 cup flour

Pinch of salt

1/2 cup water

Steps:

Flour your surface and rolling pin.

Mix the pastry until the butter becomes the size of beans.

Add the water. You are not expecting a dough. If you get a dough mixture it's okay but if it's too sticky add a little flour. Roll as shown. Wrap I plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Preparing

When you have chilled the pastry and cream, line a pan with wax paper.preheat oven to 350.
Take the dough out of the wrap.
Bang it with a rolling pin.
Roll it into a long rectangle.
Do the folding twice.
Cut into rectangles.
Put the dough onto ghetto pan and spread the almond cream on.
Add the sliced and peeled apples on the almond cream.
Put in the oven for 20 minutes.
