Arduino Breadboard Cigarette

IMG_9629.JPG

This project file is meant to understand better the flame sensor and its workings within the inland Basic Starter V2 Kit for Arduino. By using it to detect the heat from one's breath, it can act almost as a joking cigarette (hooked up to an Arduino with a bunch of cables coming out, so truly can fool your friends.) (P.S. smoking = bad)

Supplies

1 UNO R3 Board

1 USB Cable

5 Jumper Wires

1 Flame Sensor

2 220 Resistors

3 LED- Red

Breadboard

First, in order to get the breadboard the correct size, cut it using a hand saw or jigsaw along the rows to look like this picture. After completing this, follow the schematic image attached here to connect everything. The code is then attached under this step, run the code and adjust the temperature based on the serial monitor's output to get the LEDs to flash at the right temperature of one's breath.
