Artemis Bow
During the covid 19 pandemic, i have just found the way to build a bow from the easiest material you can find: Cardboard. This project I made for the purpose of recycling wasted Cardboard and also having a fun toy to play during the social-distancing period.
Supplies
You will need
A 60x20 cm peice of cardboard
A 10x10 peice of cardboard
A 20x60 peice of plastic
Patchtape
Sewing string
Hand drill
scissors
Some screws
2 straw
Office rubber band
The Base
Cut your cardboard into four 60x5 cm pieces, stack them on top of each other
Use patchtape to tight them together
The Base
Use a hand drill to drill 2 hole through four layers of cardboard. Then put a screw in each hole to keep them fix in place.
The Plastic
Cut 4 pieces of plastic 60cm long. Place 2 pieces of plastic on top of each other and fix them with adhesive tape, making 2 sets like that
Place each set of plastic pieces in turn located at 2 different ends of the cardboard bar, drill a hole on each at a head of each set of plastic v
The Most Important Part
Cut 4 piece of cardboard like this
The Most Important Part
Stack them on top of each other and use screw to fix them in place, this piece will endure almost all the force of this bow, so make this as durable as possible.

Cut 4 piece of plastic like the picture to reinforce the-step-6 part of this bow
Cut 6 pieces of cardboard with the length of 8 cm each and divide into 2 set of 3 pieces. Place them on different side of the bow and use screws to secure them in place
Rubber Band
Take 2 sets of 7 office elastic bands and tie them together, do it 2 times then put them like this
The Bow-string Secured Part
Cut a staw into two pieces with the length of 7cm of each piece. These straw will make sure the bow string alway stay at its position
Secured them on the plastic pieces
cut 8 pieces of string only 150cm long and braided together, knotted at both ends. Tight 1 head of the string into one rubber band set, put it through the strawand through the hole in the plastic piece. Do the same on the other side, this process does not take too many efforts
The Arrow Guider
Fold a piece of cardboard into half to turn it into a bow guider and stick it in the midlle of the bow
Decoration and Finish
You have finished building my artemis bow
Now the last step is decoration and it totally depend on your artistic taste. My will be a full white bow, which will give it a nice look because i love bright color
