Hello my dear readers!

Today I want to show you how to make Gulasch!

Gulasch can be customized easily by adding different ingredients like meat, sausages, bacon, beans, pumpkin or other stuff. This tutorial is for the simple basic recipe.

The basic recipe is vegan and quickly made. But the best about Gulasch is: If you let it rest for a day or two it will taste even better! So you can make more and eat it for some days in a row.

What You Will Need

For a one person meal you will need:

4 potatoes

2 onions

2 garlic cloves

Water, Salt, Oil, Paprika and marjoram

Roasting

First cut your onions into small pieces, then cut your garlic cloves into very fine cubes.

Put some oil in your pot and roast the onions and garlic until golden-brown.

Take the pot from the stove.

Adding the Ingredients

Now cut your potatoes into small cubes and put them to your onions and garlic.

Here is the point where you can add whatever other ingredient you might like.

Take one tablespoon of sweet paprika and half a tablespoon of hot paprika and add them into the pot.

Pour water on the mixture until covered and add one teaspoon of salt.

Finish and Enjoy

Cook your Gulasch until viscid.

Take your pot from the heat and add a teaspoon of marjoram.

Give the Gulasch a stir, let it come to a boil and it's ready to be consumed!

Originally Gulasch is served with rolls, but it also tastes great with rice, noodles or dumplings.

Have fun testing this recipe and giving it your personal touch!
