Automatic Night Lights for Outdoors
These Glowstone lights glow during night and switch off during day. They hide in the surroundings and are material friendly. They provide a lot of light and prevent hostile mobs.
Supplies
3 Glowstone
3 Sticky Piston
4 Redstone Dust
1 Redstone Torch
1 Daylight Sensor
8 Blocks of your choice (I used grass blocks as they fit in the surroundings.)
1 Slab that camouflages with the surroundings (I used Mossy Cobblestone Slab.)
11 Trapdoors
3 Sticky Piston

Step 1: the Slot
A) Dig a pit 3 blocks long, 2 blocks wide and 2 blocks deep.
B) On one 3 blocked side, from the middle block dig a pit 4 blocks long, 1 block wide and 2 blocks deep.

Step 2: Glowing in Night
A) On the 3 block side without the 4 block long pit, place 3 pistons facing upwards.
B) Place a Glowstone on each piston.

Step 3: Redstone, the Eternal Nemesis
A) Place Redstone Dust next to each piston.
B) In the 4 block pit, place a block at 2nd block from left.
C) At the left side of the block you placed add a Redstone Torch.

Step 4: Gaining Senses
A) To the right of the Redstone Torch block place Redstone Dust.
B) In the right corner of the 4 block pit place a Daylight Sensor.

Step 5: Keeping Secrets
A) Place a block of your choice over each block except the Glowstone and Daylight Sensor.( I have used grass blocks as they fit in the surroundings.)
B) Place the slab over the Daylight Sensor.( I used Mossy Cobblestone Slab because it fits with grass blocks.
CAUTION!!!: DO NOT PLACE A FULL OR OPAQUE BLOCK OVER THE DAYLIGHT SENSOR AS THE LIGHT CANT PASS THROUGH IT AND THE DEVICE WON'T WORK. ONLY USE SLABS OR CARPETS.
B) Place the slab over the Daylight Sensor.( I used Mossy Cobblestone Slab because it fits with grass blocks.
CAUTION!!!: DO NOT PLACE A FULL OR OPAQUE BLOCK OVER THE DAYLIGHT SENSOR AS THE LIGHT CANT PASS THROUGH IT AND THE DEVICE WON'T WORK. ONLY USE SLABS OR CARPETS.
Step 6: Finally!!
Place Trapdoors over each Glowstone. When lights will switch off the Trapdoors will remain giving a good frame for them when they switch on.
