BEE Positive Crochet Bumblebee
This crochet amigurumi bee will remind you to BEE positive!
This crochet pattern is for levels beginning-intermediate.
Supplies
- White, yellow, black, and pink yarn
- 3.5mm crochet hook
- Safety eyes
- Stitch marker
Gather Materials
This parer uses US stitch terms. If you have any questions on how to do a stitch I recommend looking it up, the stitches I use are very basic.
Body
- Create a magic circle
- Insert 6 stitches into the magic circle
- Increase into each stitch for 6 stitches
- Insert one increase, then one single crochet, and repeat until the end of the round
- Insert one increase, then two single crochets, and repeat until the end of the round
- Insert one increase, then three single crochets, and repeat until the end of the round
- Insert one increase, then four single crochets for three rounds
- Add in the safety eyes
- Use an embroidery needle to sew in the mouth and cheek blush
- Color change to black, then single crochet for three rounds
- Color change to yellow, then single crochet for two rounds
- Color change to black, then single crochet for three rounds
- Then color change to yellow and single crochet, repeat until the end of the round
- Single crochet for four stitches then decrease, repeat until the end of the round
- Stuff the bee with any material (I used polyester fill)
- Single crochet three stitches then decrease, repeat until the end of the round
- Single crochet two stitches then decrease, repeat until the end of the round
- Single crochet one stitch then decrease, repeat until the end of the round
- Decrease in every stitch until it looks closed at the bottom
- Use an embroidery needle to thread in the tail of the yarn
Wings
Repeat steps 1-2 from step two and sew the wings on with an embroidery needle or glue them on.
Done!
This little bee can be used as a gift, toy, or an ornament! But beware, this bee is very cheeky!
