Backfire G2 Battery Change
You are going to need the following tools:
5/32 Size Allen Wrench
Backfireâ„¢ 180wh Battery

Set Up Your Work Station
Place the Backfire G2 Skateboard upside down on a flat surface along with the Allen Wrench and the battery.
Locate the Battery Casing
It will be the case on the bottom of the board that does not have a power button. It is the larger black case and has "BACKFIRE G2" written on it. The battery casing is pictured.
Unscrew 3 Bolts on One Side of the Battery Casing
Use the Allen Wrench to unscrew three hex bolts on one side of the battery casing. Insert the wrench into the bolt and turn clockwise, Keep track of the washers that come out with the bolts.
Unscrew the 3 Hex Bolts on the Other Side of the Battery Casing
Use the Allen Wrench to unscrew the three hex bolts on the other side of the battery casing. Line the bolts up with the same holes they came out of to ensure that they go back in easier (optional)
Flip the Battery Casing Over
Take the side of the battery casing closest to the wheels and flip it over towards the other end of the board.
Disconnect the Battery From the Deck
Disconnect the battery from the deck of the board by taking apart the yellow connector. Simply pull the sides away from each other. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PULL ON THE BLACK AND RED WIRES
Disconnect the Battery From the Charging Port
Disconnect the battery from the charging port by taking apart the black connector. Push the button on the black connector and pull the connector apart. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PULL ON THE BLACK AND RED WIRES
Remove the Battery Casing From the Deck
Remove the battery and the battery casing from the deck of the board and place it on a flat surface
Remove the Battery From the Casing
Remove the battery from the battery casing by simply pulling it out. You may need to pull a little hard because of the adhesive strips.
Place the Removed Battery on a Flat Surface
Place the removed battery on a flat surface with the adhesive (white strips) facing upwards
Insert the New Battery Into the Battery Casing
Insert the new battery into the battery casing with the adhesive facing downward (Black side should be facing upwards).Be sure to press firmly. Make sure that none of the wires are stuck under the battery and make sure the wires are on the same side as the charger plug
Place the Battery Casing Back on the Deck
Place the battery casing with the new battery back on the deck of the board. The battery casing should be placed in the same place it was in Step 5.
Reconnect the Battery to the Charging Port
Reconnect the black connector. The black connector should easily slide back together.
Reconnect the Battery to the Deck
Reconnect the yellow connector. The yellow connector should easily slide back together.
Screw the Battery Casing Back Into the Deck
Flip the battery casing over and line the holes in the casing up with the holes on the deck of the board. Make sure all of the wires are under the battery casing
Then, Put the washers back onto the bolts. Next, use the Allen Wrench to screw the 6 hex bolts back into each side of the battery casing.
Make sure each bolt is tight goes completely into the casing. Make sure there no space between the battery casing and the deck of the board
Test Your New Battery
Press the power button to test your new battery and you are done!
