Here's a very simple, but delicious cake. Although we used our home made yogurt, butter, and jelly as ingredients (see our other projects here on Instructables), the store bought versions work fine, too. It's gratifying to us how a few simple steps, combined with a handful of ingredients results in such a flavorful result.

Prepare the Oven and Breadpan

Start With the Butter and Sugar (or Sucanat)

Sugar works fine, but sucanat (dried sugar cane syrup) is more flavorful, and carries a few more nutrients.
