Baked Cauliflower Tots
In this instructable, I will show you how to make baked cauliflower tots.
Ingredients
1/4 cheddar cheese
1/4 c onion
1/4 c plain breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp parsley
1 egg
1/4 tsp paprika
2 heads of cauliflower
It's Grrrrrrrrate!
Grate the cheese- fresh grated cheese trumps bought grated cheese every. single. time.
Break It Down
Break the florets off of the cauliflower.
Boil & Drain
Add the florets to boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, then drain the florets.
Time to Processor
Using a food processor on the pulse setting, cut the cauliflower until it's the consistency of rice.
While It's Still Out on the Counter...
Use the processor to mince the onions too.
Bring in Everything!
In a large bowl, blend in all of the ingredients.
Shape It Up
Form 2 tbsp of the mixture into tater tot shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake!
Bake in an oven that's been preheated to 350° for 20 minutes.
Flip the tots over and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Enjoy!
These are great without any dip, but you could use marinara, ketchup or ranch!
