Bartending for Beginners: Screwdriver

In this installment of bartending for beginners I'll be showing you how to make a very very simple drink called a screwdriver. If you like mimosas you will more than likely like screwdrivers as you can pretty much consider them the brother to mimosas.

One of the best parts about making a screwdriver is that unlike most of the drinks that I've covered in this series, this one only requires two ingredients and doesn't require any special glassware. All you'll need for this drink is vodka, orange juice, and ice.

To make a screwdriver only need to do it for two and a half ounces of your favorite vodka into a glass. you will then pour approximately 5 ounces of orange juice into your glass. Then using a spoon or just swirling your drink mix the two until blended. You also want to add some ice so you don't have a warm drink.

Adjust Levels, Serve, and Enjoy

The recipe that I just described may be needed to be edited to your preferences. For me, I was using a higher proof vodka so I added a little bit more orange juice to dull the harshness of the drink. Once you or your guest is satisfied with the flavor, sit back and enjoy this fruity, citrusy drink. Thanks for reading!
