Barter and Flip
We are Tech Inc, and we are creating a phone/computer app called Barter and Flip. The purpose of the app is to create business to business relationships through the local area to find discounted inventory or to sell overstock inventory. We are different from other apps because we are focused on business to business transactions and help build relationships between each other. Our biggest competition will be craigslist but what sets us apart is we will focus on business to business where craigslist focuses more on consumer to consumer or business to consumer. We made a rating system for everyone to use so you can rate how the transaction went and see what people think about them so they know if they can be trusted or not in everyone's profile Our app will be able to make a profit by selling analytics to manufacturers. We will also have a tier system within the app. Our biggest goal is to bring the business community together and to help each other when they don’t know what to do with overstock inventory and for them to help get rid of it while getting money back but selling it or trading it for a good deal. We are still in the beginning stages of everything but if we end up doing good with local businesses we will eventually want to branch out and bring in bigger businesses and corporations.

What I Learned/ Conclusion
This was a very different type of project that had me use skills I never really used before but was a great learning experience overall. Just like any project we ran into some issues. My skills are in Business Management and Business Management Information System, so designing an app isn't really my specialty. My other teammates were also not very knowledgeable in this for their specialties are in accounting and data analytics, so we had to bring our heads together to see how we want to design to be. Luckily, we had to work with another class that had to do coding to help us out. So, this helped us solve the problem of how we are even going to make the app. We learned a lot from this person because they were the ones who knew how to code it and we just had to tell what we want and ended up going over it with us as we help make it and learned some coding as well. I ended up learning even more about coding and designing an app at the same time. I had some coworkers and friends look at our design to see what they thought about and got some insight about it which helped us a lot to make it even better. At the end If I were to give someone advice about making their own business and app, I would probably say take your time with designing it and make sure you know how to get people interested it and how you are going to promote it. I would also do what we did and see what other potential or future users think about it to see what they like and what they don’t like so you can make the appropriate changes. We are still in the beginning stages and have some more work to do and testing as well, and hopefully make this app grow in the future.
