Bead Loom Bracelet

I am a bead Artist and recently I discovered making bead loom bracelet so I just gathered the material and made it. I am happy to share my this creative loom bracelet with all of you.

In this article I am going to let you know each and everything you may need to make this bracelet and also I am going to answer these questions which I faced myself at the time while I got to know this creative bracelet. As a creator I always wants to keep creating and exploring, also sharing with you guys. So, stay with me until the end of this article and get to know the curious answers of your Questions about beaded bracelets.

Material Needed:

1. Seed Beads: For making beaded loom Bracelet the first basic material that we need is seed beads. I used 3 colors (Red, Black, Golden) seed beads in making this loom bracelet. Seed beads is a type of beads used to make jewelry and is easily available in any market place or you can also find them online.
2. Scissors: You can use any small scissor available at home as I used my paper scissor because we need scissors for only cutting our thread looms.
3. Nylon Thread: Nylon thread is also very cheap and accessible from any stationary shop. I used Black nylon thread for making the outermost loom of bracelet.
4. Beading Thread: This is a 0.14mm thick thread and I got it from shop near my home. You can find it online by its name "Beading Thread" or "Piko Thread"
5. Needle: I used needle no .11 as its a thick needle special for making beads jewelry.
6. Pattern: Now a days you can find different loom patterns online on famous platforms like Pinterest, Google, Etsy (you can even buy patterns here) but as for practice purpose I advice to just draw you own pattern as I did and I attached this pattern also for you.
7. Base: As for keeping our loom stretchable I am using a handmade base, I used two combs easily available at our homes and attach them with strong Tape with two wooden boxes. You can see it in picture I attached.

Lets get Started:

First we need to tie beading thread at the end of both combs attached with wooden box in the form of looms. In the first step I tied 8 looms or you can say lines showed in 1.picture. You need to tie tight loom so your bracelet don't broke half way and also don't get loose. In 3rd number picture I showed that how I tie breading thread and Nylon thread using nails easily available at home.

Use nylon thread only for making the outmost loom of the bracelet. It woks as a handle or loom to keep your bracelet strong and also we will use this loom to make braids to tie or make a knot to wear on hand.

Next Step:

Now as we have tied our 8 looms so now to start making our first row of beads we need a needle and thread (You can take thread in any length but don't take it to long as it will be very difficult to handle) and you have to be patience while making it as it takes time. You can remember that Great things take time. Alright then you need to take 9 seed beads as I took in 3rd. number picture. (I took 1 golden, 7 Red and then 1 golden again for the 1st row)

It's very easy to make as we have to repeat pattern after making one and you don't need to tie this needle thread for now, just let it free for now.

As I said before after making pattern once you just have to repeat it again and again or you can also make any design according to your pattern.

I kept its length 6 cm (centimeter) you can make it according to your measurement but I prefer 6 cm, It's not too large nor too small.

After making the complete pattern now we have to add some more beads as we have to end our bracelet. It's showed in 9,10,11 and 12 number pictures ( I have added golden seed beads on both sides of the bracelet in the pattern by Lessing 1 and 1 beads from both sides. Then I just pulled this beading thread abd tied a knot on both ends of pattern beads.

then I made a nylon thread braids present at both ends of bracelet (Shown in 16 and 17 number picture) and we are done.

Here we have made a Beautiful Bead loom Bracelet and now you can wear it or can gift to your family, friends and relatives.
