Here's how to make a cubic box from a couple of beer cans. Soda cans can also be used. The box is useful for keeping small items such as screws and things.

Remove the top and bottom of the beer can with a craft knife and scissors.
Cut down the middle of the can
Trim the sides
Flatten by rolling it against an edge

Draw 3 squares in a row, each 6 cms.
At the beginning and end of the row draw a tab .7 cms wide. Cut the outline.
Fold the can at the lines.
Make 2 of these.

Divide the tab into 3 and cut. The centre goes outside, the two on the end, inside when joining together, as seen in the photos.
Join the two halves together with some glue to three of the tabs, the last one forms the box's lid.
Apply packing tape to the edges.
Place tape to the centre of the led tab so it can be closed.
