Bevel Gauge From a Ruler

Watch as I turn a metal ruler into a bevel gauge, for simplicity I did not making it sliding but you could easily drill two holes and cut a slot with a rotary tool (dremel) and a cutting disk.

It is made by cutting a slot in a piece of sapele and then sliding a ruler and securing it with a coach bolt washer and wing nut, the finish is wood balsam which contains linseed oil and bees wax.
