Black Widow

Excited for Halloween? Do you have kids who not only love the holiday but enjoy arts and crafts? Well, I have the idea for you. It's both cost-efficient and fun to make. All you have to do is follow these simple steps and you will have what I like to call the Black Widow. Let's get started, shall we?

1. One pack of black pipe cleaners

2. One pack of mini black pom poms

3. One bottle of glue

4. Optional white pack of pipe cleaners

In this step, I am showing the user how to attach the legs to the body. Open your bag of mini pom poms and black pipe cleaners. Set four pipe cleaners aside and use any one of the pom poms. The pom pom that you decide to use for the legs should be the middle piece. Use the four pipe cleaners and wrap them around the pom pom. Make sure the legs will be the same length on each side. Watch the video if you are unclear on how to do that. Your finished product should look like the last photo.

You will now need to glue the last two pom poms together so that it will look like a spider. Take your glue bottle and glue one end of the pom poms and attach it to the other, do that will both sides. You will need to let the glue dry for at least 5 minutes.

After the glue has dried your spider should look like this. If you want you can call it quits here and you will have completed the spider and you should congratulate yourself.

What is a spider without a web after all? Open your pack of white pipe cleaners and take two out of the bag, make a T and then tie them into a circle. Now take the web and tie it to one of the legs of the spider. Attach it underneath so that you can't see it. It should look like the spider in the picture. This is the final step and you have completed the black widow spider. Congratulations.
