This is a simple and quick boiled egg fry recipe where boiled egg halves are tossed with Indian spices. It can be served as a side dish for rice or can be served with rotis.

Eggs (as required)

2 green chilies

1/2 Tsp red chili powder

1/4 Tsp turmeric powder

A few curry leaves

Coriander leaves for garnishing

Salt to taste (as required)

Boil * Remove

  1. Boil the eggs.
  2. Remove the eggs shells.

Slit * Chop * Marinade

  1. Make a slit (like across) on all eggs in order to absorb the spice taste.
  2. Chop chilies, and coriander leaves.
  3. Add 1/2 Tsp turmeric
  4. .Add 2 Tsp salt.
  5. Add 3 Tsp chili powder.
  6. Add 1 Tsp oil.
  7. Mix it well.

Heat * Fry * Flip

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Finally, add the cooked eggs.
  3. Add the mixed masala, on the eggs.
  4. Wait till the base of the egg turns golden brown.
  5. Flip the eggs after the base is turned golden brown.
  6. Stir gently.
