I will go through steps on how to make a bird feeder out of things you might not ever think of making a bird feeder out of.

Supplies

1. Plastic Two Liter Bottle
2. 2 sticks
3. 2 zip ties
4. Cutting utensil
5. Plastic lid

Doll Rods/Sticks

First, poke a small hole in the bottle. Make the hole small enough to hold the sticks nice and firm.

Zip Ties

Cut two holes in the top of the bottle across from each other. Put one zip tie in the holes and tie it. take a second one and put it through the first one to have a place for it to hand from the tree.

Cardboard and Hot Glue

Hot glue pieces of cardboard on the bottom of the bottle because the bottle won’t stick to the lid without the pieces.

Lid

After putting the pieces of cardboard on the bottle, you’ll want to put hot glue on all of the pieces of cardboard and glue it to the lid. I used a Folgers Coffee lid.

Holes

You will want to find a way to cut holes in the bottom of the bottle to allow the bird feed to go through to the lid.

Bird Feed

Lastly, you’ll want to unscrew the cap of the bottle and pour bird feed in. It should pour down into the lid and fill up in the bottle.
