Bored? Have some bottle caps hanging around, nothing to do with them? Well you can put these to use and make necklaces, bracelets, rings, magnets, and even just decorations!

Materials

You will need:

1. A bottle top

2. Elmer's glue or hot glue

3. Beads, charms, rocks, or whatever you want to decorate your cap with!

4. Magazine (optional if you want a background)

5. Scissors-not shown (if you have to cut out a background)

6. Tape-not shown (if using a background)

7. Pencil-not shown (if you are using a background)

Search

Find something out of a magazine and cut it out. Make sure you trace the bottle cap on the picture so when you cut it out it will fit in the bottle cap. You might have to trim it so it fits.

Tape

Once you find something out of a magazine, if you are putting a background, cover it with tape. The tape will prevent the colors from smearing when you glue it. When you are done taping, trim the tape off.

Glue

Glue the background into the bottle cap. (I'm not using a background, so I didn't glue it down.)

Get Charms

Glue

Add More Stuff

Add more stuff!

Glue Over

When you are done glueing everything in you might want to add glue over the top of it all to make it shiny and secure.

Finish

Finished! You can now make it into a necklace, bracelet, ring, magnet, or whatever you want! Have fun creating!

The ones I made are a moon and stars, a cat eye, and a reptile cap.
