Bottle Display
Recycling one wine bottle is one less trash out there, I decide to make something out of it.
For this project I recommend an adult supervision if the person doing this is under legal age and work in an open space when the fire part is involved.

Glass Bottle
I used an empty wine glass but any size glass bottle or container will be good, depending of what you want to display.

engraver.
Materials
rubbing alcohol or acetone, lighter, a piece of rope of about 40 inches or enough length for six or seven rounds around the bottle because the thickness of the glass.
Ice
Iced water is very important, room temperature water would not work (again because the thickness of the glass)
Wrap
around the piece of rope around the bottle (just where you want to make the cut) tie a knot, cut the excess and remove it from the glass.
Put
the rope in a small container (I used a jar lid), pour the rubbing alcohol or acetone and let it soak.
When
the rope is well wet, put it back on the bottle. Avoid any spills and dry your hands.
Hold
the bottle horizontally above the iced water, fire up the rope, the fire will heat up the glass just around were you want it, and when the fire is about to expire drop the bottle on the iced water. Soon you will hear a crack sound.
Sharp
The border will be very sharp. Wet a piece of sand paper and sand away the border carefully until is smooth.
Design
Choose your design, I taped two pieces of stencil that I like.
Engrave
the design around the stencil, and you are done. Enjoy!
