Bottle Cap Flashlight

a simple flashlight made from a button cell battery bottlecap and an led. Its not very Bright but its a nifty little craft and super simple.  It  is my  entry for the flashlight contest.

Tools and Materials

You will need
1.tape
2.one led of your choice
3.one button cell batery (remember to check the voltage)
4.One bottle cap
5.Glue
Pliers
and wire cutters

The Electronics

This was meant for someone just getting into radioelectronics so it isnt the best light around.

Take the led and bend about 3 milimeters of it 90 degrees.
next tape it to the battery.

Then curve the other prong.

Note:you do not want the curved prong to touch the battery therefore you will want to bring it up and away from the battery.

Finishing Up

Now we are going to put it all together.

First we cut out a cardboard circle.(make sure it is big enough to cover the entire cap)

next tape it to the curved prong

put a dab of glue on the cap and put everything together.

when everything is dry put a ring of glue around the outer edge of the cardboard

to seal it all together.
