Bottled Hope

This is a miniature bottle tutorial on how to make "Bottled Hope". This can be really easy if you are experienced, but if not, just look up some YouTube videos of other miniature bottles so you don't dive headfirst into something you don't know. That being said, I hope you like this!

Okay, so:
-Dried Acrylic paint in colors of light purple, baby blue, light blue, and light pink.
-Something to scrape/scratch with. (I used a cuticle knife thing.)
-A stirrer (You will also use this to position the paint chips inside the bottle.)
-Pink and Blue chalk pastels
-Clear Glue
-White fine glitter
-A miniature Glass bottle with a cork.
-A small clear crystal rock to go on top.

Using your scratcher tool, carefully scratch off some red chalk pastel. You could easily just put this on a napkin, but I got a little tin and put it in there.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT PUT IT IN THE BOTTLE YET.

Pour a little glitter straight into the bottle, until it covers the bottom. You can see with the pictures above how much I put in.

So after you put in the glitter, pour in some glue. But when I added that red powder that I prepared beforehand, it was way too much! So I stared at it for a little while, then got a Q-Tip and cleaned it out a bit, until it wasn't so overwhelming. Yay!

Once I fixed my bottle, I added more glitter to fill the bottom and then more glue. I left whatever pink/red was still inside the bottle, and then added the glue ontop of that.

Here, you can scratch some blue chalk pastel straight into the bottle. Now, here's the tricky part. When you mix the blue in, only mix it in the top half of the glue. This gives the glue a 'hazy blue' look that I was trying to go for.

Now, with your scratching tool, scratch up small pieces of the dried acrylic paint. This is ombre, so start with the pink. Using the stirrer, poke the pink pieces into the glue until they reach the bottom. It takes a bit of patience, but you'll get the hang of it!

Now do the same thing with the purple and blue paints. You got this!

You're almost done! All you have to do is add some of the glue to the top of the cork, and stick on your crystal.
