Brass Ring Christmas Wreath

Minimalist Brass Ring Christmas Wreaths are all the rage! But why pay for one, when you can easily make your own. With just a few supplies and a little time, you can make a beautiful custom wreath to help deck your halls! They are perfect for doors or any empty wall that needs a little bit of festive decor for the holidays!

Materials Needed:

Brass Wreath Hoop (12, 14 or 16-inch)

Green floral tape

Artificial greenery sprigs and picks

Pinecones

Floral wire

Wire cutter

18 inches of ribbon for bow

Twine

Small brass bells

Start by wrapping 1/3 of the brass ring with floral tape.

Pull slightly on the tape as you wrap the ring in order to activate the adhesive in the tape. Tear the tape when you are done and press the tape end to secure it to the ring.

Using wire cutter, clip the artificial greenery into 3 to 4-inch pieces.

Arrange the cuttings to get an idea of how you want your wreath to look. Move pieces around and add pieces as desired to determine how sparse or full you want it to be.

Unwind approximately 8 inches of the floral wire. Use the wire to wrap your first greenery sprig onto the ring, so that it covers the beginning of the taped section. Be sure to wrap wire tightly to secure.

Add a second piece of greenery, overlapping the end of the first sprig. Continue to wrap with the wire to secure the sprig to the wreath.

Continue adding greenery, making it as full as desired, until you reach the middle of the taped section. Wrap the wire tightly around the ends of the sprigs to secure.

To attach greenery on the other side, start at the top of the taped section and secure first sprig of greenery as before. Be sure the sprig is facing the opposite direction, so that the stem end points toward the middle.

Repeat the process of adding and wiring greenery as before, until you reach the middle. Secure the end of the wire as before.

Cut a 14-inch piece of floral wire and wrap the middle of it around 2 or 3 pinecones. Use the ends of the wire to wrap around the ring in order to attach the pinecones to the wreath center.

Adjust the pine cones so they hide where the greenery stems meet. Cut off the excess wire.

Use the ribbon to tie a bow between the pine cones.

Cut a 16-inch piece of twine, and tie one end to the loops on the bells. Tie the twine with the bells onto the wreath, adjusting it to the desired length you want the bells to hang. Use remaining end of twine to hang your wreath. Happy Holidays!
