Broccoli Chickpea Flour Curry
-As broccoli is rich in vitamin c and dietary fibre this would be an healthy choice to include in our routine diet.
Ingredients
-one small broccoli
-3tbsp chick pea flour
-one tsp coriander powder
-one tsp red chillipowder
-Half tsp garam masala powder
-1/4tsp chat masala
-pinch of turmeric
-salt as per taste
-Finely chopped 2 garlic cloves
-Cooking oil
FOR TEMPERING
-Tsp of cumin and mustard seeds
-Few curry leaves
PREPARING CHICKPEA FLOUR SPICE MIXTURE
-First step is to take 3 tbsp of chick pea flour in bowl.
-Add spices tsp red chilli powder,tsp coriander powder and half tsp garam masala powder
ADD REMAINING SPICES
-Add remaining spices 1/4tsp chat masala and salt as per taste
ADD TSP OIL
-Add a pinch of turmeric powder and mix all spices with chick pea flour.
-Atlast add tsp oil and mix everything.This prepared chick pea flour spice mixture is further used for curry preparation
PREPARING CURRY
-Take a wide pan and add little oil to it. when oil is heated add cumin,mustard seeds.when they splutter add few curry leaves and chopped garlic
ADD BROCCOLI FLORETS
-Next add broccoli florets and saute for few minutes.
ADD CHICKPEA FLOUR SPICE MIXTURE
-Once broccoli florets are half cooked add prepared chickpea flour spice mixture and give a mix.
COVER AND COOK
-Sprinkle very little water , cover and cook for few minutes so that chick pea flour spice mixture gets blended with florets.
-we sprinkle very little water just to prevent the curry becoming too dry.
SERVE
-Serve the curry with hot rice.
