Broccoli, Macaroni, and Cheese

BMC1.jpg

This is an easy 'can have on hand' meal for anyone with children. This comes from the idea that broccoli and cheese is good, macaroni and cheese is good, so combine the two.

Supplies

Frozen Broccoli

Box Macaroni, and Cheese

Butter

Milk

Pot

Spoon

First Broccoli

With the water cold put the frozen broccoli in the pot and get the water boiling.

Add Macaroni

Now with the water boiling add the macaroni. Usually you need to boil for 8 minutes.

Add Everything Else

Drain the water off when the macaroni is done (feel free to do the lid tilt trick). Since you have broccoli in there you may need a bit more butter and milk. But first put the butter in so the heat of the macaroni can melt the butter. Add in the milk and then the powdered cheese. Mix.

Eat

This isn't hard to make. Since the broccoli is frozen, and the macaroni and cheese is dry this is a meal that can be kept for whenever small people are hungry. As long as you have the milk and butter you can make this up at just about any time when the large people just want to eat leftovers. Good luck.
