CATAPULT INSTRUCTABLE

Hello! I created a catapult for my instructable project. I made this catapult for my seige weapons physics class.
Supplies
The list of materials you will need are:
- Foam Board
- Wooden Skewers
- Hot glue
- Plastic Cup
- Cardboard
- Tape
- Ruler
- Exacto Knife - Foam Cutting Knife
- Measuring tape
- Pencil or marker
Triangles

First take a large piece of your foam board. Then you will want to take a pencil and cutting knife. You will want to sketch two triangles that are 60 cm tall and 60 cm long. Once you've sketched these out you'll want to carefully cut them out of your foam.
Putting the Triangles Together With a Base

Next you will want to take more foam board and sketch a 60cm long and 40 cm wide foam piece, creating a rectangle. Once that is cut out place the bases of both your triangles on each end of the rectangle. Once you've placed them at the end of each side, hot glue or tape them onto the piece. This allows the triangles to be connected and stand up, acting as the base of the catapult.
Putting the Triangles Together With a Skewer

Now that the triangles are standing and connected at the base, we need to connect them at the top. Take a marker and align two dots at the top of each triangle. Take your cutting knife and cut out the dot so it is big enough to fit a wooden skewer inside snugly.
Cardboard Piece

For this step you are going to want to take a strip of cardboard and fold it until it wraps around the wooden skewer. Make sure to leave room and not glue the cardboard directly to the skewer. Glue each end of the cardboard together to create a straw like thing.
Long Piece of Foam

Now take foam board and cut a 90 cm strip of board. This is the lever that you will push down to make the object fly. Glue a cup to one end of this long piece, this is what is going to hold the object you are catapulting. Glue the long piece to the cardboard.
