CHERUB

I made the wings for this costume by cutting an old foam gym mat into wing shapes and gluing on rows of white feathers. It was very easy to cut and shape . I added elastic straps  to be worn like backpack straps. There is also a wire glued under the feathers to allow for posing the wings
   The tunic and matching diaper cover were made from cutting up an old silk blouse.. There is an elastic waistband. I sewed gold trim along the edges.
    The bow and arrow were made from wood scraps that I cut on a scroll saw and painted with acrylic paints.
